The Library invites you to two special fundraising events. First, it's a Halloween Party for Adults in the haunted Phoenixville Library on Thursday, October 30, from 8:00 to 11:00 PM. If you've been intrigued by the video of the book flying off our shelf unaided, or the photo of the orb outside our old front door, or heard the strange stories told by staff members, you just might want to check this out. The Party will feature the Chester County Paranormal Research Society regaling guests with tales about the Library and other subjects of their investigations. This BYOB event also features prizes for costumes and a silent auction. See our Web site for more details.
Then, on Thursday, November 6, from 5:45 to 9:00 PM, it's our 5th annual Evening of Wine, Wit & Wisdom, held again at Rivercrest Golf Club & Preserve. Come support your Library by sampling and comparing wines from the "Old World" and the "New World". Call 610-933-3013, Ext. 31 for more information.
